Volassom is a hybrid skin booster that combines Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) and Hyaluronic Acid (HA) for immediate and long-lasting rejuvenation. This formulation, developed using cutting-edge Korean biotechnology, works by physically lifting and hydrating the skin while gradually stimulating collagen and elastin production. It’s also why Volassom comes in lattice-pore-shaped microspheres. This also allows Volassom to easily provide both immediate and long-term results using a two-step process:

1. Immediate volume—After administration, the filler fills in wrinkles and adds volume to the treated area. This produces an instant lifting effect.
2. Gradual collagen stimulation—As the filler is absorbed, calcium particles remain behind to stimulate the body’s collagen production, thereby maintaining skin firmness and natural volume.

PRODUCT INFORMATION OF VOLLASOM CaHA

Packaging: 0.8 mL x 2 pre-filled syringes (total of 1.6 mL)

Product composition: 30% Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) and 70% gel carrier containing Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), glycerin, and water. It also contains hyaluronic acid.

Indications: Deep wrinkles, general skin rejuvenation, loss of facial volume

Needle size: 22G-25G

Injection depth: Deep dermis to subcutaneous layer

Injection technique: Linear threading technique 

Reconstitution: Due to Volassom’s high viscosity, it may be mixed with 0.2 mL or 2% lidocaine and/or saline. Mix the solution gently before use.

Treatment sessions: Typically, one 30- to 60-minute session is sufficient for visible volume enhancement and collagen stimulation. An optional maintenance treatment session (about 2-3 times) is recommended after 4-6 weeks.

Duration of effect: 12-18 months
