DURATION OF EFFECT
The duration of action of Meditoxin 100U depends on the type of condition treated, the injection site, and the amount of botulinum toxin used. The effects may begin as early as 1 to 2 days after injection and peak between 1 and 2 weeks after treatment. Clinical improvements often last 3 to 4 months. Treatment using Meditoxin should not be repeated for at least 12 weeks. However, regular Botulinum Toxin injections are not indicated because of the risk of developing tolerance to the medication.

MEDITOXIN 100 UNITS PRODUCT INFORMATION
Packaging: Each box contains 100 units per vial. But there are also different dosages available in 50 and 200 units of a powder for injection vials (1vial/box)
Product appearance: Meditoxin appears as a freeze-dried white powder for injection in a colorless transparent vial.
Indications: Improves the appearance of glabellar frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, and treats hyperhidrosis in the palms, calves, armpits, and thighs.

Reconstitution: Dissolve Meditoxin 100 Units in 0.9% Sodium Chloride injection and gently mix by rotating the vial. It should be administered within 24 hours after reconstitution.
Recommended dosage: The exact dosage and number of injections at each site must be tailored to each patient based on the size, number, and location of the muscles involved and the severity of the condition. Generally, an injection volume of approximately 0.05–0.1mL per site is recommended and may increase depending on the injection site.
Treatment interval: Intervals between treatments should be at least 12 weeks.
