Coretox Botulinum Toxin is the world’s first 150kDa botulinum toxin product without animal-derived components in its toxin culture. Instead of human serum albumin (HSA), which is usually present in the formulations of Botox injections, Coretox Botulinum Toxin uses USA FDA-approved polysorbate20 and L-methionine as stabilizers. Hence, there is a significant reduction in the risk of potential infection by blood-derived pathogens or infectious microorganisms by Coretox.
Coretox is a new botulinum toxin type A product by the biopharmaceutical company Medytox in South Korea. Medytox ensures that their current innovation of botulinum toxin is free of accessory proteins by purifying only neurotoxins from the complex proteins that were unnecessarily contained, reducing the amount of protein delivered to the patient during the procedure. Thereby, reducing the immune response of the body that may be the cause of certain adverse effects. Coretox prevents users from developing immunity to the injection and reduces the risk of resistance by inhibiting antibody formation which usually wears down the effects of the botulinum toxin.
Coretox is safe to use for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines associated with procerus muscle activity in the face of adults ranging from the ages of 20 and 65. Aside from its aesthetic purposes, Coretox is undergoing further clinical trials for muscle stiffness or treatment of upper limb spasticity associated with stroke in adults over 19 years old.

INDICATION AND USAGE
Coretox Botulinum Toxin temporarily improves moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles related to eyebrow wrinkles muscle (corrugator muscle) and procerus muscle activity in adults aged from 20 to 65 years old. It is also beneficial to the treatment of upper limb spasticity in adult patients 19 years and above.
DURATION OF EFFECT
Coretox is an advanced version of Botox and has a longer period in between maintenance period, which means it produces a long-lasting effect before needing another treatment session. Coretox displays maximum reaction in just a single administration and prevents increasing tolerance from frequent administration of Botox.
